A pocket arcade forged on Hindley Street

We are a nine-person studio working out of the West End on Hindley Street, Adelaide. MysticWild Protocol started as a game-jam prototype in 2021 and grew into a full roguelike we now update every six weeks.

Every mystic is hand-animated, every dungeon layout is stitched together at runtime, and every balance patch is playtested live with our community. No pay-to-win, no ads mid-run — just a game we would want to grind ourselves.

  • Solo-friendly runs from 8 to 20 minutes
  • Cross-device cloud saves included free
  • Studio hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:30 ACST

Live Seasonal Events

Limited-time raids, community goals, and lore drops land every six weeks — no season pass required to join in.

What the community is saying

Finally a mobile roguelike that respects my time. I get a full run in on the tram to work and never feel nagged to spend money.

Melbourne, VIC · playing since launch

The PvP arena is genuinely tense. Hit Diamond last season and the balance patches actually listen to feedback.

Offline mode saved me on a 14-hour flight. My whole team synced back the second I landed. No progress lost.

Plugged in my Kishi and it just worked. Feels like a proper console handheld game that happens to fit in my pocket.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The full campaign, all dungeons, and ranked PvP are free forever. We fund development through optional cosmetic packs and a seasonal battle pass — nothing behind the paywall affects gameplay balance.

Cosmetics only. The Founder's Skin Pack is A$14.99, the seasonal Battle Pass is A$9.99, and individual mystic skins range from A$2.99 to A$5.99. There are no loot boxes and no gameplay boosts for sale.

MysticWild Protocol runs on Android 9.0 and above with at least 3 GB of RAM. It needs roughly 1.8 GB of storage and supports 60 Hz to 120 Hz displays. Older devices can drop to a battery-saver renderer in settings.

Absolutely. The entire single-player campaign and dungeon runs work fully offline. Only ranked PvP and cloud sync require a connection, and your offline progress uploads automatically when you reconnect.

Yes — Xbox, PlayStation DualSense, and Razer Kishi controllers are supported natively. Inputs are fully remappable, and the game auto-detects your controller when it connects.

We ship a content update roughly every six weeks, including new mystics, dungeon modifiers, and seasonal events. Balance hotfixes go out sooner when the community flags an issue.
